If you think new construction around Atlanta is getting repetitive and you're ready for something new - meet Aria. The new construction community in Sandy Springs is easily compared to Rosemary and Alys Beach along 30A or Serenbe in Chattahoochee Hills. That's all thanks to the dream team behind the project: Atlanta-based developer Ashton Woods has teamed up with architectural firm DPZ to create Aria.
The groundbreaking project is special for many reasons - primarily the ambitious size of the development. Over 100 acres of land will contain 600 homes, 30,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, and plenty of amenities and green space. The mixed-use concept is not new, but the implementation is truly innovative.
The neighborhood promotes walkability, from the coffee shop and mail kiosk at Aria North to the shopping and dining area in Aria Central soon to be filled with local businesses. The welcoming community will not be gated and plans to donate a portion of land to Sandy Spring for a public park.
Prices will range from $300,000 for condominiums to $1,000,000 for single-family homes and townhomes. Over 100 homes have already sold and the first residents begin move-in this month. As construction progress, the opportunity for home customization will remain at The Studio by Ashton Woods in Avalon.
