Top 3 Atlanta Activities To Do Before Summer Ends
Before summer slips away, take advantage of your free time with the city's warm sunshine and bustling activities. Here are the top 3 things you don't want to miss out on before summer ends.
1. SunTrust Park
If you haven't been to a game at the new home of the Braves, SunTrust Park offers more than just a baseball experience. Try the new Terrapin Chopsecutioner brew, shop at boutiques around The Battery, or play carnival games at Hope & Will's Sandlot. New eats include H&F Burger, Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q, Chick-fil-A, Waffle House, and more!
With fun theme nights, promotional giveaways, and Friday night fireworks - there's always a reason to go to a game. If you're booked with trips for the rest of summer, you're in luck: the Braves home games continue into September, so you don't have to miss out!

2. Andy Warhol at The High
Atlanta is going crazy over The High Museum's latest and greatest showcase of the summer. With over 250 prints of Warhol's graphic production spanning four decades, this collection is said to be the largest exhibition of his work.
From Jordan D. Schnitzer and his family's extensive collection, you get a thorough view of Warhol's style. From early sketches to some of his most iconic works, the collection includes elements of advertising, celebrity, and sexuality. The exhibition will be on display at The High Museum of Art in Midtown Atlanta through September 3.

3. Stone Mountain Park
Stone Mountain is an Atlanta staple for the summer. Climbing Stone Mountain has always been a tradition in my family and the entire park is filled with fond memories for me. Not to mention the hike is a great outdoor exercise! It's a one-mile climb to the top or take advantage of 15 miles of surrounding wooded nature trails.
If that's not your thing, Stone Mountain offers countless activities for all ages from 18 holes of miniature golf to 36 holes on two champion golf courses. At night, catch the Lasershow Spectacular featuring music, animation, and synchronized drones with an immersive laser canopy and complete with fireworks. The show begins at 9:30 PM and will run until October!
