Collier Hills is a popular Buckhead neighborhood established in 1941 and located in E. Rivers Elementary School district. This tight-knit community has an active civic association with a gardening club and several neighborhood events.
The neighborhood has a rich history dating back to 1831 when it was sold to the Collier Family. Early development halted during the Great Depression and most of the homes were built before and shortly after World War II - many by developer Herbert W. Nicholes.
Collier Hills offers unbeatable access to the Atlanta BeltLine Northside Trail, Bobby Jones Golf Course, and Bitsy Grant Tennis Center. There are several parks bordering the neighborhood to choose from with walking trails, playgrounds, and picnic areas.

Tanyard Creek Park is a 14.5 acre park that is popular for runners, bikers, and neighbors that offers playgrounds, picnic tables, and open fields. The Atlanta BeltLine Northside Trail runs through the park and provides easy access to Bobby Jones Golf Course, Bitsy Grant Tennis Center, and Memorial Park.
Bobby Jones Golf Course was the first public golf course in Atlanta and opened in 1932. The newly renovated 9-hole course is home to the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame, the Georgia State Golf Association, and Georgia Section of the PGA of America.
Bitsy Grant Tennis Center was built in 1952 and it is home to Atlanta’s largest tennis center with 28 courts. Players can reserve 13 clay courts, 12 hard courts, and 3 platform tennis courts.
Local favorites surrounding the neighborhood include Boone’s at Bobby Jones, Culivate Food & Coffee, Howell’s Kitchen & Bar, Mr. C’s Bar and Grille, Fellini’s Pizza, and many more. Collier Hills is conveniently located close to Publix and The Fresh Market.
Colliers Hills Civic Association provides security patrol and hosts social groups and activities for the neighborhood. Greystone Garden Club is the heart of many events such as the fall festival, 4th of July parade, and holiday fundraisers.
