Mt. Paran is a large and private area located in northwest Buckhead - just south of Sandy Springs. The neighborhood sits between Chatain Park to the east and the Chattahoochee River to the west. Mt. Paran is home to many of Atlanta’s large estates sitting along these roads. The area is highly residential with its only commercial stop at The Country Store located on Northside Drive - a rustic convenience store built in 1906.

Chastain Park is one of the largest and most popular parks in Atlanta. It is home to Chastain Park Amphitheater which hosts summer concerts and is Atlanta’s oldest outdoor music venue. There is a 3-mile walking trail that circles North Fulton Golf Course, an 18-hole public golf course at the heart of the neighborhood. Chastain Horse Park is one of two remaining urban barns in the United States.
