Buckhead Neighborhood Guide: Peachtree Hills

Welcome to Peachtree Hills!

Located off Peachtree and Peachtree Hills Ave

Peachtree Hills was established in 1912 after it was subdivided from farmland in 1910. The neighborhood has a rich history as an original streetcar suburb of Atlanta.

Peachtree Hills is known for its friendly neighborhood feel - charming homes with front porches, a mature canopy of trees, and an active community where you will always meet neighbors walking their dogs. The neighborhood hosts annual social events including playground playdates, walking group, Spooky on Springdale, Easter Egg Hunt, Holiday Party, Spring Picnic, and Festival Marketplace.

I personally live in Peachtree Hills and have helped many clients purchase their first homes, size up for growing families, and find investment properties in the neighborhood.

Neighborhood Features:

Peachtree Hills Park is a unique neighborhood treasure with three tennis courts also lined for pickleball, a popular playground with picnic area, two community gardens, and a baseball/softball field with lights, dugout, and batting cage.

Local favorites all located in the heart of the neighborhood include Treehouse Restaurant, KR SteakBar, and Corks Cellar wine shop & tasting room (formerly PH Wine Merchant)

Peachtree Battle Shopping Center is located off the north side of the neighborhood and includes Publix, Starbucks, Ace Hardware, and Walgreens convenient for running errands. You can find some of Buckhead’s best shopping here including Gregg Irby Gallery, Gramercy Home, Nadeau, J.McLaughlin, Onward Reserve, Woo Skincare + Cosmetics, and more. Neighbors and Buckhead locals frequent Cafe Lapin, Jalisco Mexican Restaurant, Baskin Robbins, and Whitehall Tavern.

A design enthusiast’s dream, ADAC (Atlanta Decorative Arts Center) is located right down the street and attracts top interior designers with the Southeast’s largest collection of showrooms. Right next door, The Galleries of Peachtree Hills offer a collection of antiques, fine art, and interior galleries open to the public - including favorites such as Huff Harrington, Mrs. Howard, and Parc Monceau along with Melanie Turner Interiors, Suzanne Kasler Interiors, Beth Webb Interiors, and more.

Peachtree Hills Civic Association is a wonderful asset to the neighborhood with optional membership to fund social events and security.
