Garden Hills is community living at its best located in the heart of Buckhead. The neighborhood was developed in 1925 with the vision of a country club community based around the pool and community center that still exist there today.

Garden Hills is an active community with several neighborhood organizations including Garden Hills Civic Association, Garden Hills Garden Club, Garden Hills Neighborhood Foundation, and Garden Hills Pools and Park Association.

Two private schools are located within the neighborhood off Peachtree Road — Atlanta International School and Christ The King Catholic School.

Neighborhood Features:

Garden Hills Pool offers membership and guest passes for the Buckhead community to enjoy during the summer. Facilities include a playfield, playground, poolhouse, recreation center, and party areas. It is home to the Garden Hills Cool Sharks offering swim and dive teams for children and adults.

Frankie Allen Park is the largest of the neighborhood parks - it includes baseball diamonds, tennis courts, walking trails, picnic areas, and a playground and it has been home to Buckhead Baseball since 1952. Within the Garden Hills neighborhood, residents enjoy Sunny Brook Park, marked by the Garden Hills Women’s Club in 1934, and Alexander Park, established in 1942.

Garden Hills is centrally located nearby Whole Foods Market, Atlanta Fish Market, Buckhead Butcher Shop, The Peach Shopping Center with Publix, Buckhead Exchange with Trader Joe’s, and Andrews Square with local favorite Lucy’s Market.

Peachtree Road Farmers Market is located directly across from the neighborhood at The Cathedral of St. Philip on Peachtree Road. On Saturday mornings from March to December you can shop an array of local, sustainable, and ethically sourced goods. PRFM started in 2007 and it is now one of the largest producer-only farmers markets in the state.

Buckhead Village District (formerly The Shops Buckhead Atlanta) is a mixed-use development and premier luxury shopping and dining destination in Atlanta that is located directly north of Pharr Road. Home to favorites such as Hermès, Dior, Veronica Beard, Jenni Kayne, Le Bilboquet, Le Colonial, Barry’s, Highland Yoga, and more. The best of BVD include local businesses Buckhead Art & Company owned by Katie Jones, FACED Facial Studio founded by Ansley Bowman, and Fetch Dog Park & Bar started by Stephen Ochs.
